My growing BELLY...and changing HAIR...

Hilarious to me how these photos show not only my growing belly, but also the fact that since I have lived here in London, I have YET to have a perfect haircut! AAK! I must get this under control before baby arrives! lol ;)

my two favorites

Hey Friends -

So many have been requesting belly pictures - here are my two favorites from our San Fran babymoon :)

This one was a moment of creative genius on David's part - just baby and San Fran in the background - so cool!

And, this one was at the amazing California Academy of Sciences museum/aquarium - super fun place! We loved watching the kids exploring the animals around the museum - can't wait to do that with our little girl one day too :)

Our big REVELATION

Here's how we revealed and discovered the gender of our little baby...boy? girl???

1) I did jumping jacks in the bathroom of the ultrasound clinic to get baby to flip over...it worked! The technician was finally able to see the genetals! SHE DID NOT tell me the gender. And, David was NOT there to cheat and figure it out for himself.

2) A final report from the ultrasound technician and radiologist was sent to my GP. My doctor did NOT tell me the gender. Instead, she wrote it on a card and sealed it in an envelope for me.

3) I brought the sealed enveloped to a cupcake baker who was instructed to make either blue or pink cupcakes as per the secret note. The baker did NOT tell me the gender!

4) In preparation for our big Gender Revelation Party, I decorated the cupcakes with question marks. Oh, and I dressed up Jolie for the big event with blue and pink ribbons...she had no idea what was happening ;)

5) We hosted a party with our families on skype and local friends/family over at our place. In front of everyone, we cut into the cupcake (with the same cake cutter we used to slice our wedding cake) to discover - along with everyone else - that our baby is a .....

GIRL!!!!!!

Off to San Francisco!

TODAY:

1) clean house, as we have a guest arriving the day we get back

2) take Jolie to the dog park for a last HURRAH with her before dropping her off at Holiday Farms kennel (sooooooo much guilt about this - I got her the BIGGEST dog treat to chew on while we're away: a deer antler!)

3) grab a bite to eat and finish packing

4) HIT THE AIRPORT! We're off for our babymoon!!!!!!!!!! Lots of love and romance before baby arrives :)
